Around 5 years ago the Eureka Solutions team began developing a fully scalable and cloud-based product based off the previously built integration tool, data exchange – a solution providing data integration specifically for Sage 200.
Today, Cloud Data Exchange is a fully flexible, cloud-based tool offering a multitude of systems such as NetSuite, Xero, Sage, Shopify, WooCommerce and more, the ability to talk to each.

Our Chief Operating Officer at Eureka Solutions shared further insight on the success and importance of Cloud Data Exchange: “Time is the one thing that all our clients wish they had more of – and we are giving them it.

In its first full year last year the product delivered beyond expectation with 119 clients buying into the system. The biggest month for the product came in November 2021 when CDE handled 1,676,983 transactions as online retailers dealt with the increase in demand through holidays such as Black Friday and Christmas upcoming.
With ecommerce businesses on the rise Gillian believes now is an important time for the CDE Product adding: “This is an important time for us. Many of those new and developing ecommerce businesses are going to find that the data black hole between different systems is a blight that will stifle their growth. We are the answer to those problems.”
So why Is Cloud Data Exchange crucial for business, particularly those online? Our Sales manager, Lara Fitches discussed why:
“Pretty much every business will use a well-known accounting software package, but they simply don’t speak to the ecommerce platforms. That means that every time a customer places an order online, a member of staff will have to sit and manually type that information into their book-keeping or accountancy software.
“We have clients selling specialist products online and they may only get five orders a day. Yet it simply isn’t worth their time doing it manually because it keeps them away from making and shipping the products they are passionate about. Then we have the more mass-market clients selling thousands of items each day, where the benefits of automation simply can’t be contested.”
